Tijani Babatunde is a Certified International Trade Finance Specialist (CITFS) and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria. He holds degrees in chemical engineering and business administration. As a professional banker Tijani has over 10 years cognate experience in various fields including Trade and Supply Chain Finance, Commodities, Financial Institutions, International Payments, Bureau de Change Operations, and Corporate Banking, working with institutions such as The United Bank for Africa (UBA) Group, Guaranty Trust Bank PLC, Commerzbank AG, The EcoBank Group and The African Development Bank.
Tijani provides expertise on Trade Finance Facilitation and Structuring, Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Supply Chain Solutions and Business Development and oversees these aspects of Florian Kole’s operations, helping create business linkages and access to finance for local businesses as well as market intelligence for foreign firms seeking to gain a beach head in the sub regional market.
Kolawole is an Economist with a vast experience in fostering constructive financial interaction between emerging and established markets, particularly in the area of project finance and structuring. His professional experience spans Corporate and Investment Banking garnered at top tier financial institutions such as, African Development Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays Corporate and Bank PHB Plc.
As part of his experience, he has successfully managed a vast portfolio of multi-sectoral projects with complex financial structures and raised capital in excess of US$200 million for high net worth individuals, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and institutional clients in Africa. He currently oversees Florian Kole’s Project Finances and Investment related business and represents the firm in Europe, specifically as the Managing Partner for MODE Professional Services UK - a special purpose vehicle consulting on a project with a global investment bank.
Kolawole obtained an MSc in Development Finance from the University of Manchester and a Certificate in Advanced Project Finance & Financial Modeling Techniques from the Institute for Public-Private Partnerships (IP3) USA. He is also a PRINCE 2 Practitioner and holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Babcock University, Nigeria.
Charles Adegbuyiro is a seasoned banker with nearly a decade of professional experience, having worked with institutions such as Equitorial Trust Bank PLC, Ecobank and Keystone Bank. His experience spans Risk Management, Internal Control, Investigation, Administration, Relationship Management and External Communications.
Prior to his foray into banking, Charles served as Administrative Manager in an indigenous engineering firm (Manitex Business Concepts). He holds a Higher National Diploma in Office Management and Technology and a Master’s in Business Administration (Management) as well as being an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Public Adm. & Local Govt affairs. Charles takes care of Florian Koles Public and External Relations.
Ibitomola Tijani has a penchant for structure and has garnered extensive experience over the past decade working with respectable Nigerian organizations including in a leading law firm (Aluko & Oyebode), a Nigerian architectural firm (Architectural Structures Nig. Ltd) and a foremost engineering and construction company (H.F.P Engineering) with emphasis on Office Administration, Human Resources and Executive Management.
Ibitomola holds an Honors degree in Zoology from the University of Jos and a Master’s degree in Global Human Resource Management from the University of Liverpool in addition to a (professional) certificate in Legal Office Administration from the Daibo Paralegal Training Institute, Lagos. She speaks English, French and Arabic, and in her spare time enjoys reading and writing
Ibitomola oversees FK’s administrative and personnel functions.
Mahamat Assouyouti is a professional economist with strong proficiency in research and analysis. His experience spans international economics, development studies, public sector policy, natural resources management, private sector development and microfinance. Mahamat has over 5 years hands on experience in provision of technical capacity building and business development services (BDS) to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), focusing on access to institutional finance from Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), commercial banks and microfinance institutions. He has also worked extensively in entrepreneurship development programs as well as consultancy for foreign investments.
Mahamat has implemented a number of “SME access to finance” programs with institutions such as the French Development Agency in Chad (ARIZ guarantee for SMEs) and the African Development Bank (pan African SME Program) and his experiences in stakeholder management with various organizations span strategic, operational and administrative tiers of various organizations “from bottom to top”.
Mahamat holds a Master degree in Economic Analysis and International Development from the Auvergne University in France, a diploma in Public Financial Management from the National School of Administration of Rabat (Morocco) and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Investment Appraisal and Project Management from Bradford University, UK, as well as a Post-Graduate Certificate in Financial Modeling from the Queens University Canada.
Mahamat provides experience in Market Intelligence, Business Development, Capacity Building and SME Development in addition to being the focal point of Florian Kole’s francophone business. He fluently speaks English, French and Arabic.
Eya Essif is the founder and Chief Executive of Eco-Bois Tunisia, an environment friendly firm involved in the manufacture and export of molded wooden pallets using waste wood. Within 5 years, Eya has grown Eco-Bois from its modest beginnings as an indigenous start-up to an export driven, eco-friendly enterprise that has attracted funding in excess of $1 Million from private equity funds and international commercial banks. Eya also serves as chair of the Tunisian delegation on Export Promotion and is co-founder and President of the Swiss-Tunisian Association of Businesswomen for Corporate Social Responsibility (AFAST). She currently oversees projects designed to increase bilateral trade between Tunisia and a number of countries within and outside the African continent including the US, UK, Gabon, Mauritania, Mali, Niger.
Eya has been a champion of the environment, social and sustainable businesses, poverty alleviation, gender mainstreaming and equal opportunity. In 2012, she received commendation from the European Commission (Green Public Procurement) for her contribution to socially just business and in 2013, she was nominated as “The Arab Woman of Achievement” - an award sponsored by the The Deauville Partnership with Arab Countries in transition under the auspices of the “G8", in recognition of contributions in the areas of economic growth, leadership and inspiring social change. In addition Eya was nominated and certified as a Mentor for her successful participation in the Forsa / G8 Deauville Partnership Mentoring Program II.
Eya studied Law at the school of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Sousse and holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Mediterranean School of Business in Tunis. She brings her immense wealth of experience in Business Development and Capacity Building to Florian Kole, as well as her extensive network of partners in the EMEA region. Eya fluently speaks English in addition to being a native speaker of German, French and Arabic.
